yes, yes, yes! i tend to read before even posting it to see it from the reader’s pov, that way i can still make adjustments. when i’m further into writing the story but it’s been a while, i reread it again to spot details for continuity. and i genuinely think its fun to read your own work, because then you can see if there are things you’d like to see happen or feel fitting to add.
