            “you’ll be fine!” she laughed, her nose scrunching up slightly for a second before she relaxed her face, not wanting the mask to crack. “it was my fault i got it in my mouth because i was talking to *someone* on the phone while i was doing it,” she said with a loving smile as she continued to apply it. her eyes eventually moved up to meet his, and a blush formed on her cheeks, luckily one he couldn’t see. “why are you looking at me like that? do i have something on my face?” she giggled slightly again before ducking her head slightly to hide her bashful smile. 

he watched her intently, sitting as still as he possibly could while she – did whatever she was doing. “how are you gonna say i’ll be fine and then tell me you’ve gotten this crap in your mouth before?” he questioned through laughter, before he had expertly let that sizzle so he could sit perfectly still for her. he watched her apply this stuff on his face, his eyes trailing her features and committing them to memory. she was beautiful, especially in the domestic moments like these. what would he do without her? well, he didn’t want to find out. hopefully he never would.

            “you’re going to be fine, i promise,” she said with a genuine smile before tilting her head to look at him better, “the only reason i told you not to move is because this doesn’t taste good at all and i don’t want to get any in your mouth. trust me… it’s happened to me before.” she giggled before beginning to apply the face mask to his skin, her soft smile never leaving her lips.

            when the spy spoke, all kara could do was grin slightly and shrug as she teased, “i don’t think you realize how hungry i truly am, red.” she watched the other carefully as they got into position, causing the grin on kara’s face to turn to a smirk. both moving out of the way and deflecting the grab at the same time, kara used the opportunity to reach in for nat’s ‘flag’, just narrowly missing it. “you gotta be quicker, nat,” kara teased with a smile as she got back into position, her eyes never leaving the other female.

Nat laughed at the other's reaction -- for a split second, failing to keep up with her initial fighting stance. She threw her hands up, turned around to run a hand through her hair, then observed as Kara also got in position. "Really?" kickboxing was all about speed. Speed plus super strength combined, it was almost overkill -- if she wasn't *the* Black Widow. She got back to her stance, then. With moves characteristic from the Eagle Style, she went for the first attempt and tried to 'claw' at the 'flag' and snatch it from her -- knowing it wouldn't be from the first try, but hey: acting confident as it would be.

            as soon as kara saw the stance the other female got into, she threw her hands up playfully, “you have *got* to be kidding me.” she ran her tongue along her top teeth as she thought for a moment, a slight smirk growing on her lips as she decided what style to use. as the brunette got into position, it was clear she had decided kickboxing was the way to go here. she had to get dinner somehow. “well, that’s true,” kara chuckled before continuing, “but i’ll go easy on you to try and make it fair.”
