Writing is fun! When I was involved in the overactive life of teaching I would morph well know stories, like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, into our modern world and read them to smiling faces. We all had fun playing with the characters and scenes that the words described. The kids were able to make friends with words and write their own stories.
	When I moved into the more serious pursuit of  two masters degrees, one in education and much later another in theology, I found myself putting words together in more formal, academic renditions. I enjoyed the opportunity to engage in these kinds of conversations with my teachers. 
	A few years ago I began facilitating study groups in two different churches. Writing became a method for engaging groups of people in Bible explorations. Working with these words led us to experiences that introduced us to another neighborhood. We discovered that there is more to words than meets the eye.
	My relationship with words has deepened as I've journeyed through the years. Now I enjoy using words for opening doors into that which lies beyond the obvious. 
	When I discovered Wattpad I found another community where people are interested in exploring conversations with words. The fun continues!
