⠀⠀⠀ the blood is warm and thick in his mouth, a feeling that aden ryker had become familiar with over the last few centuries. it always felt nice — when he fed from the consenting, or when he got to watch the life drain from those who didn’t deserve to breathe the same air as some people. obviously not him, who merely picked up on the habit of breathing to fit in. he didn’t need it, just liked the way it felt.
⠀⠀⠀ unfortunately, his meal time was cut short by the sounds of steps and someone clearing their throat. his hands drop the forearm they held, and icy blue hues flicker up to the sound. his annoyance only grows when he figures out exactly who it is — the prick who called him both pretty *and* desperate.
