may ... 23 ੭ᰍㅤ hello everyone !! while i’m patiently (read: anxiously) waiting for more forms for salvatore and doctor! doctor! and working through the apps i owe (they’re staring at me from my drafts folder like ghosts of deadlines past), i’ve been thinking of starting a small side project.
it’s officially my last summer before college takes over my life, so i wanted to do something a bit more casual—something i can update freely, whenever inspiration strikes. nothing too demanding, just a little creative outlet to keep things fun and low pressure.
but of course, i am once again at the mercy of my own indecisiveness. so... i need your help. here are the two ideas i’m torn between:
ㅤㅤ ៶ promotion/recommendation book ─ a dedicated space where i highlight and promote different applyfics, shops, layouts, writers, and creators in the community. it’ll be part spotlight, part appreciation, and part resource—perfect for people looking to discover new stuff or get some visibility for their work. i’d love to include reviews, aesthetic overviews, or even “vibes-based” suggestions (like ‘if you liked X, you might love Y’). basically, a little hub of recs and shoutouts, fueled by admiration and late-night browsing.
ㅤㅤ ៶ theme dump ─ this would be my personal archive of themes—both ones i’ve used before and ones i make on a whim. some might be fully fleshed out with layouts and graphics, others might just be color palettes or font pairings i found interesting. it’s where i’d let my brain throw design ideas at the wall and see what sticks. think of it as a digital sketchbook for aesthetics, with no pressure for perfection, just creativity and vibes.
so yes... help. i’m currently trying to decide between doing something structured and supportive, or something chaotic and artsy. whichever one gets more love, i’ll commit to updating regularly as a fun little bonus while i wait for form traffic to pick up again.
