I was thinking that like Man/Dream was gonna like, fond a facility where he was held and made weird like that, and then theyd find some information on who he used to be, then theyd go there and try to find him family, but theyd be dead, theyd try to figure out who he was and learn his name/identity, then maybe find the cat or have a funeral for the cat she was missing but end up settling somewhere together ultimately
