i remember reading a hunger games fanfic where the author included a psycho cannibalistic character and i had to exit out of that book because the description was so nauseating and an ugly picture that i had to stop reading it and removed it from my library TT.
any time, i read a fanfic, i picture the characters in my head. it was not a pretty picture, especially when the author was so descriptive in what the cannibal did to the other characters :/

@Yohanseyebrowmole exactly, i’m usually not bothered by it either but the description was just too graphic i had to take a minute, i skipped the chapters with that character and finished the book but i would not read it again. it was an amazing story but pls it was kind of unsettling!!

@etherealjoyy I totally get that! Like, I don't mind reading them, but sometimes it's just so graphic that i gotta take a minute to process it. I'm usually not phased by stuff like that because I research and study it, but like reading it for some reason is always so unsettling
