@softwhisperss_ nah for real when I started watching the show, I couldn’t over the characterisations of Shivaay, Annika, Saumya, Rudra and Omkara. 
            
            The dynamics were different and I loved that they weren’t typical ITV characters (ಥ ◡ ಥ)
            
            But then they BECAME the typical ITV characters and I was like……  (╥﹏╥)
            
            I mean sure it became better after a while (somewhat) but then the way they “redeemed” the Senior Oberoi annoyed me soooo much (¯―¯)
            
            Also yeah…… everyone that watched Ishqbaaaz in my school, LOOOOVED Annika and honestly so did I—— the way she always challenged Shivaay and NEVER backed down was just ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭

@eclipseddahlia I was in my last year of high school when it had been a year since it aired——and yet they wouldn't stop gossiping my interest was peaked when our class president engaged in the gossip he was a book worm who'd remove his books to talk about Annika XD
            
            Annika was truly the most adored character in the show, she and Gauri were the sweetest

@softwhisperss_ I started watching ishqbaaaz cuz my friends at school were going on and on about it—— but like I started watching it when ShivIka+RiKara’s joint wedding functions were being celebrated. 
            
            And yes to the rest of your text. Annika was a character that I adored at the beginning, and afterwards (after Tia’s secret was exposed), she became just like ANY other ITV FMC  :/ 
            
            They totally butchered the uniqueness she had  :((
