The last chapter of Home for the Summer is officially published!! I definitely didn’t tear up writing it……..

I know that I shouldn’t have favorites, but HFTS has been mine. There’s so much of myself, my friends, and my life packed into each character. I’ve lived by the ocean my entire life, but I’d never written about it in a romance like this before. Each new chapter, character, and plot point stretched my limits, and it was SO rewarding to see it all wrap up like this.

Thank you all SO SO SO much for reading, commenting, and voting. It means the world to me that people actually care about this story as much as I do.

Surprise :)

New story coming out at 3 PM ET. I can’t wait for you all to see what I’ve been working on. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak:

-It was August, but the air bit at my skin like a winter chill, and I could feel pieces of myself slipping away with it. I wanted back my two-bed, one-bath apartment, with its cluttered walls and dirty tabletops. I wanted back the loudness of the city. I wanted back everything I took for granted just last week.-
Cami Sutton knew how to put a feeling into a song. Her guitar held every moment of her life in its strings, and when she's dropped off at Joanne Stewart's Boarding Academy, it takes on more songs than ever. In the fall of 1976, alongside her new dormmates, Cami learns to put those songs to good use.

An unflinching story of loss, creation, and romance through a teenage girl's desperate songs.

THANK YOU for 4k reads on Home for the Summer!!
This has been BY FAR my favorite piece to write, especially since I’ve had each of you alongside me through the process. Each chapter, character, and line of dialogue was written with you in mind, but had also been an incredible way for me to dip my toe into a new space. I’m terribly sad that the ending of this book is within view, but SO HAPPY that you have all enjoyed it! I cant wait to show you what else I’ve got in store :)

WOW.

THANK YOU ALL FOR 500k READS ON BOTH SIDES!

I began this story in 2020 when I was still very insecure about anything that had to do with my sexuality or mental health, and because of this silly novel, I have come to terms with who I am. Reading you comments and messages has been one of the best parts of my day for three years, and I am so thankful that people have found a safe place within this characters.

As a thank you for HALF A MILLION READS, I’m going back to edit past chapters and ensure the best reading experience for future viewers, and rereaders. Thank you all again. I wouldn’t be who I am now without your enormous support.

Happy holidays, everyone!
I just realized that we hit 450k reads on Both Sides which is A. so incredibly hard to believe and B. the greatest gift I’ve received.
I cannot stress how thankful I am that other people relate to this story, or have found a sense of familiarity within it. I put so much of my life into the characters and plot that having it be accepted so well has been the largest confidence boost.
Thank you all so much for the reads, votes, comments, and love.

BTW! I have successfully edited all of HFTS! It has been updated and is ready for all of you lovely readers to take a look, if you're up for it.
I'll admit, this story has definitely gone in a different direction from what I originally had in mind, but I'm enjoying adding in little bits of angst here and there.
On that note, the next few chapters of HFTS are going to be a bit brutal. Readers beware :)
