a party ? raenys couldn't recall as to why he was here in this presence of this man──mayhaps he was drawn to the sounds, or he was intrigued.. who knows. raenys was often regarded as a mystery, or many couldn't really pinpoint what went through his head—what he was thinking or /what/ he was going to do. he could often be unpredictable, and tempremental .. engaging in acts of anger and unpredictability when the moment arose, however, as of right now— he seemed more docile. more calm, and collected, compared to his usual outbursts around his family. the older man posed no risk, or so that's what he merely assumed. making a scene wouldn't be good for his reputation—or would put a stain on his family's name.
"hmph, well.. let's hope they do not show their faces here again. seeing how they couldn't stop a man like you—a /very/ talented knight you are, then." words of praise and respect leave his mouth, the words are smooth as silk as they do. the thought causes a smug smirk to curl up onto thin lips, while his hands remained rested in front of him. raenys already respected this man & that was something he didn't easily admit or express, but in this very moment .. he chose to say how he truly felt and saw lyonel as someone to be wary of yet respected at the same time.
although, once the topic shifted to something .. else— raenys narrowed his eyes, lilac eyes glance in his direction almost immediately and his head tilts in the process, "a party ?" the word sounded foreign on one's lips, knowing that the prince rarely frequented far from his family's castle unless they HAD to, or his house was summoned by another force. though, the other's words seem to trigger his intrigue more than anything else and decided to humour them, that knowing smirk reappears once again.
