Damien Passmore

Damien Passmore is a lover and author of fantasy fiction.  There isn't too much in Damien's prior education or employment that would point towards success as an author.  Despite this, in 2015 Damien was awarded the fantasy fiction prize at the San Francisco 'Beach Book Festival'.

Alas, although this was important and encouraging recognition, to date Damien has not enjoyed such success as to be in a position to give up his day job.  While such a notion is appealing, it isn't necessary and Damien derives great enjoyment from simply writing in his favourite genre.

Inspired initially by JRR Tolkien, Damien has since enjoyed the works of many other wonderful fantasy fiction authors.  It has not been fantasy fiction writers alone that have inspired him though, and classical authors such as Dickens and Victor Hugo were also influential.

A finisher by nature, you can rest assured that when you embark upon a reading journey with this author, it will be a journey that ends in a completed book.
