thanks to durrafinity to pointing out that my chapter 13 somehow got corrupted. don't know if it was like that from the beginning. but it's fixed now.

Sad and disappointed, I don't know how to tell you, how much your stories meant to me. I was always happy to that you had posted a new chapter. They gave us a lemon and maybe one day you'll make lemonade. Respectfully your loyal fan. Keep in touch..

@dlsocmed it breaks my heart but I understand. I never saw the chemistry between Patrick & Richie , where as with Kevin it was off the charts. I would have preferred him with Dom! Truthfully, the best partner for Patrick right now is his hand & imagination. Hopefully you'll find another show to bring your brilliant imagination to.

@dlsocmed I so understand your feelings and agree it's difficult. I have so enjoyed your writing, you have no idea. I feel you have a special gift and wish you would continue but fully get your reason. I feel the same way. Maybe one more goodbye chapter for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

well, the movie aired, and we all now pretty much know who Haigh's OTP was from the beginning.

Cannot lie, the knowledge of this, which i've had for a while, has sucked the energy out of me for now, so probably will not complete the story version of my script. I think it's time has passed.

Thanks to all the lovely people who wrote comments and encouraged my obsession with these boys.

fyi we lonely fanfic writers thrive on comments, so please encourage your local fanfic author with notes, and ideas, and comments, and suggestions, and general chitchat. Knowing there's someone out there reading and reacting to the thing you spent time on is so precious.

Thanks again to you all, and maybe see you back here one day.

@dlsocmed I feel the same way. I'm not even going to watch it, which sucks because I was so excited about it. And while it may be seen as a bit childish, I don't care. //foot stomp// It just pisses me off. And I loved your story. If only they'd conferred with you first. :(

Hi...now that the movie came out...I was wondering if maybe you will write us sequel maybe? Please please. .

dlsocmed

@sp23ss i cannot lie that since i heard about the movie 3 weeks ago, and since i saw it on a big screening on Wednesday, my mind has been plotting for ways to 'fix' it. But...is there anybody really still interested? I think it's time may have passed. I may still have to write something though because Kevin's voice is bubbling up inside of me...

As you may know, I recently finished my Patrick's POV, 'A Simple Man' which was a companion piece to my Kevin's POV, 'How Did We Get Here'.

A few readers had commented how they liked to read the two pieces in combination, switching between the two POVs, so for those very generous readers who have given me their time and so many lovely compliments, I have started putting the two works together, mingling the chapters in chronological order.

Because Kevin's was the first I wrote, I have decided to put his perspective before Patrick's. It read better that way to me.

Anyway, there are no original or new chapters, just a mingling of the two. Hopefully I will have it all up in the next few days, but at this point I have all the chapters for Series One published.

Thanks again for your continued support.

So this journey has been really amazing for me. For those of you who have read my stuff, thank you for giving it the time of day, and if you liked it, thank you for making me happy to have written it.

If you’ve been following you know what come next.
Just a quick note - It is probable that Kevin is not end game for Haigh and Lannan, but he’s always been end-game for me, so how I tackle the whole ‘hearts working differently’ and ‘fundamentals’ conversation next is unashamedly with that bias. Other possible interpretations would be obviously that Patrick’s eyes are finally and fully opened and he sees Kevin for who he really is rather than who he wanted him to be, but, if you’ve read my story from Kevin’s POV you know that the real Kevin in my opinion is exactly who Patrick fundamentally knows him to be and is absolutely worth taking a risk on. Patrick just needs to trust him. And he is totally trustworthy.
Thanks to those who stuck through all this with me. Thanks to my muses, Patrick and Kevin whom I adore. Thanks to the original creators for giving us such complex, beautiful, perfect, flawed characters to work with.

And a special thanks to my terrible, wonderful, enablers.
