            Yeah, the only difference is that some of my best years were with those boys, my friends now are unsupportive and rude, obnoxious and dramatic. They are all girls tho. I am just so excited to never have to see them again, but for now there is no one else for me to be with so I just have to deal with it for the next year. I can only just wait and hope my friends improve in the future.

@N-necromancer_ yeah. I miss when they were goofy and innocent and just made me laugh and we had such good conversations. If it weren’t girls like you in my life, idk where I’d be.

@thealtdeku Hi. No worries about the late reply. I have notifs from months ago that I still haven’t checked. Yeah so with Licensed Villains I wanted to toe the line of mature themes and having it be dark. There are def mature things (Izuku calls out the bullshit of the hero system and quirkism, there are several conversations about Bakugou’s treatment of Izuku, things go into how hawks was treated by the commission, the complexity of the todoroki family and how that has left trauma/guilt/etc for Dabi and todoroki and even some stuff about fuyumi and Natsuo, I talk about manipulation of systems and taking advantage of privilege, and go into some stuff about discrimination - you get the point) I try to deal with them with a serious but not dark tone. I didn’t want the story to feel brooding and painful, but more like a conversation. Yes, there are complex and touchy topics, but they are handled not with a joking tone but a lighter one than most fanfics. It’s about walking through those issues and confronting them without it being driven by pure angst, if that makes sense? Things aren’t happy go lucky and Izuku’s  not naive (at least not after the first 6 or 7 chapters) but they’re not depressing. 
            
            I’m sorry, I’m rambling. I hope this makes sense. 

@deatmat that’s okay. Just wanted to be sure bc I tend to read more fanfics with darker/mature themes. I’ve read some that imply things that are still darker/mature themed without being explicit unless it’s a flashback but even then it was kept vague. I think that’s a good balance when dealing with darker/more serious situations. I digress. Besides the torture & abuse discussion, will it have some more of the mature/serious themes (not grape of course) that involve Izuku or will it be tame/happy go lucky with him? Abandonment & neglect for example . Thank you for responding & I’m sorry responding so late.

@thealtdeku oh my gosh, no that doesn’t happen at all. I have no clue why my story came up for that. Nothing bad happens to that extent. All possibly triggering topics are given warnings at the beginning of the story or beginning of select chapters (the worst I believe is just discussing of child abuse and one torture sene using electrical shocks).
