OMG AWARDS NIGHT WAS FUCKING FANTASTIC. Okay so. I'll try make this short. Me, my mom, my dad and my sister sat 2 rows behind my crush (codename is Goose) and his family for the whole night. It started at 6.30 and ended at 8.30, and we were all sat in the canteen in 20⁰C heat for ages, we were fucking burning up (idk what 20⁰C is in Fahrenheit and i cant really be bothered to look it up). So anyway. Goose got 2 awards, one for basketball and one for student of the year (in his class group) and my award was the last one and I got Overall Junior Student of The Year. So overall best student out of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year, roughly 150 people. Anyway, when i went up to get it, Goose's parents and sister were smiling at me and clapping. I was shaking. And then when we all went home, me and my dad were walking WITH Goose's family to the carpark, and my dad and Goose's dad had like a 3 second conversation and his sister and mother smiled at me and then his father smiled at me and then HE smiled at me. Oh my Lord. Best night ever.

The three of us have now spent the better part of two hours devising a study plan for James. By which I mean, I wrote out 6 long-question sample answers. In Irish. Using the P.Q.E technique. Point, Quote, Explain. In Irish. But it's so worth it if James passes and gets to come with us to Venice. It won't be the same without him there.

Me and Cormac created a group chat and we added James and the sole purpose of this gc (group chat) is to help James pass his Summer Irish Exam.

So long story short. We're going to Venice on a school trip in October, some of our year and the first years (but by then we'll be 3rd years and they'll be 2nd years). And James is really quite terrible at Irish. He always fails the tests (fail is anything below 40%). Anyway, James was picked to go to Italy. But his parents said that if he fails his Irish exam in the summer, which is next Tuesday, he's not allowed to go to Italy. So, us being the amazing friends that we are, we have now dedicated the next week of our lives to helping James with this wretched exam. Luckily, Irish is the 2nd exam out of 9, so hopefully he'll retain the information. Wish us luck guys♡

To put it into perspective how fucking UNPREDICTABLE Ireland's weather is.......

It was 25⁰C this morning at 10am(about 77 Farenheit) and now we're in the middle of a fucking thunderstorm at 6pm. We NEVER get thunderstorms. Like, EVER. What is this bro.

Went home early from school today. Hung out with Susie again. We went out for a walk, and we came across a tree. And she launched me up into it. And then after 3 unsuccessful attempts to pull her up into the tree after me, we gave up and Susie started tugging on my ankles, trying to pull me down.

Well, she underestimated her own strenth. I was terrified up on that branch. She was pulling so hard that I sort of FELL out of the tree. Straight down. 6 feet to the ground. I landed on my back. I was winded and Susie landed ON TOP OF ME. I have a bad crick in my neck now, but I'm otherwise unharmed. We both laughed and cried under that tree in each other's arms. God, but that was so funny.

I was in PE yesterday morning and we were running around outside on the concrete and then i tripped and skidded into the gravel and fell face first. I shredded my knees and they were bleeding really badly, and I shredded the top layer of skin off the palm of my right hand. Really hurts, but this is the one time being left handed comes in clutch. Especially with exams coming up. I need to actually be able to write. And then later in the day we had a display of work from the second years (my year) so we got taken out of class to go meet our parents cause they were here to look at all our work, and mine weren't even there cause they both work full time. So I went home with Susie and her mum and I didn't have to go back to class afterwards. We went to Costa (coffee shop) and had lunch and iced coffees, and then went back to her house. Susie does judo, and she had a competition up the country last weekend, and she got a concussion and wasn't able to go to school for all of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyway, we went back to her house and played board games and cards for ages, and then it started lashing raining so of course we went outside and got soaked, so she gave me some clothes to change into. Currently wearing them after sleeping the whole night in them. And then we watched Germany's Next TopModel. It was fun.
