          i literally played the update for an hour too

nod krai release today who’s on ur pull list

i swear i feel like i have to rant about nod krai or my heads gonna explode
          okay this is literally gonna be me analyzing every two seconds of the trailer so buckle up
          1. the moment the trailer starts it mentions the spaceship. spaceships (in my opinion) do not fit in genshin and the world its built. this game isnt honkai star rail its genshin (this will be a re-acurring theme)
          also the traveler has NEVER mentioned anything about a ship, NEVER (unless i somehow missed something). 
          2. the hand thing that does the power stuff that looks like abyss looks kinda bad. reminds me of when genshin would slap a star texture on stuff from the night kingdom
          3. the enemies are really ugly not in like a cool way like they literally look dumb they look like treasure hoarders just with fire. its really lazy (i strongly dislike when genshin reuses outfits from npcs onto their enemies- unless ur name is eremite then ur fine bc eremites use outfits from the desert npcs however they make it unique and different) the new enemies DOES NOT do this. its a recolor with fire. 
          4. i think the main town is incredibly ugly and does not fit with genshins overall theme whatsoever. its giving...guess what....HONKAI STAR RAIL. except this game isnt honkai star rail its genshin. nod krai is so grey and mechanical but also too open and the colors dont match.
          "wait susannah, that sounds a little bit like fontaine-"
          NO!
          fontaine is mechanical, but it makes it work. it blends a steampunk style with genshins theme, and doesnt shove it in your face. 
          "no susannah i meant the sewers/prison in fontaine"
          well theres a reason those arent the first thing you see in the nation. its underground. it fits the theme OF it being underground. it is not a city. its a small section of the city. NOT THE ENTIRE CITY. 
          5. the clothes the npcs (OR THE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS) wear have no common theme/just look awful. yes its supposed to not be a country but if genshins treating it like it is it needs to have a common theme-

ive talked about my venti obsession a little bit but i dont think ive EVER talked about my alhaitham hate period bc it was insane 
          like i HATED him he was my least favorite character id rant about him to my only genshin friend at the time who ALSO hated him 
          i found him so insufferable (if i knew him irl at that point in time and he spoke to me like he spoke to other people in the game hed get punched day 1 i fear) i never (and still personally dont) believed in the "alhaitham has autism" theory like no mam like its evidenced in a kaveh voiceline he knows how to interact (nicely) with people he just chooses not to and like that would piss me off even more 
          i would always scream to the skies that he was only popular bc he was one of the best characters kit wise (at the time he was meta) and he was hot

i feel like if we brought our favorite genshin characters to our world we'd be so cooked
          for example, my two favorite characters are klee and scaramouche.
          klee would blow up my house and theres a good 70% chance scaramouche will kill me
