@authorjona I have about 10 books on KDP. I'll put the rest over there soon. I like it here for the interactivity. KDP is not a great place to talk to my readers. Here, I get no money, but have 'met' readers from around the world. In both places, I own my IP.

@authorjona Wow, thank you so much for sharing that, writing here since 2018 is impressive! I guess staying consistent really helps build that groove. I’m still new here, but I’ve been writing for a while on other platforms, so it’s interesting to see how things work here. I'd love to share my experience too, with it, you will know what I said I hope to find here. I’ve been writing for about 3 years now. I usually use the Amazon KDP platform to publish my books and make sales from my work. When I heard about this platform, I decided to try it out and uploaded part of my book. But after doing so, I didn’t receive any compensation like I do on Amazon KDP. On Amazon KDP, I earn up to 70% royalties for every book sold. My books appear on Amazon marketplaces worldwide (US, UK, Canada, etc.), but that’s not the case here. I keep 100% of my right with Amazon kdp, I decide the pricing, format, and even when I want my book to be updated worldwide. KDP allow me to be both read digitally and physically in people's hand, but here, only digitally. Once on Amazon, my book can stay available for years without losing visibility. But here, I discovered stories can get buried in search results after a while. There are much other differences which I hope I will meet here which I didn't.As I mentioned earlier, I just discovered this platform, so I thought to give it a trial but there’s something I expected to find here which I didn’t.
