funny how when girls mention sexual assault men's first response is "it happens to men too" yet when men talk about the high rates of male suicide which is a very valid problem in our society you will NEVER find a girl say "happens to girls too" because we understand basic empathy .

@cigsatdxwn • not here to invalidate, but most of time, the argument leads to the conclusion of "men can't be assaulted" or somewhere in that line hence some need to say the same thing.
          	  
          	  girls understand it, that much is true. but most of us, those who struggle with coping with what happened, are literally taken as a joke.
          	  
          	  i deadass went on a date with this guy and he literally said "it's your fault."
          	  
          	  the truth is: men and women who haven't experienced it (or are in denial, take your pick) will deny themselves of the truth which leads to what i literally just said... which is some men (and women) won't take us seriously because there's sone trauma upon saying those words
