I got the idea for Seven Terrible Nights when I was really young, just a kid, about eight years ago. I wrote some chapters back then despite my age, but eventually, I gave it up. Or to say, got bored as any kid who discovered something and got bored of it after a while.

Four years later, I decided to bring it back to life. I edited it, added new chapters, and changed a lot of the plot. This time, I also set the main points that I hadn’t been able to make before because of my lack of experience and knowledge of how a proper story should be written.
But then again, I abandoned it.

The same thing happened once more: I added more chapters, expanded the plot... and then gave up again, this time turning instead to short stories. Maybe it was boredom?

A month ago, I decided to stop procrastinating and finally finish that novel I’d always longed for. I worked hard for a while, but… it’s still unfinished.
And now, I’ve decided to finally give it up.
Maybe someday I’ll actually finish it and publish it. Who knows?

What I’m really trying to say is: this is wrong. You shouldn’t give up on your own idea, your own work, not AI’s. Please, don’t give up on your stories. It’s useless.

Finally, I’m sorry if this sounds like a long, boring speech, but I felt like I needed to tell someone about it, another writer.
Officially, I’ve unpublished "Seven Terrible Nights"... *sighs*

Oh, I didn’t say “hi” first, did I?

That is a useful advice.. I really wish you luck and wish your novella to finally be completed and published as a novel.
          	  Good luck!

I have a story like this that went nowhere. I submitted it for the ‘8 chapter challenge’ beginning of last year.
This year I told myself no more big goals. I aimed for the ‘open novella contest’, managed to completed all three rounds. I didn’t make the longlist. Took that novella and submitted to Ambys. Currently I’m going through the novella and looking for plot holes which I can expand on. I aim to go from 25,000 + words to 50,000 words, so that my novella becomes a novel. I have written a few chapters so far.

My advice, start small and complete your writing with a proper beginning, middle and end.
