okay, i am not someone who likes to bring private drama to public spaces—let alone wattpad—but it gets to a certain point where i cannot stay silent. i do not care who speaks poorly of me, indirectly or not, but “beefing” comes to an extent and crosses a line when you go as far as to flaunt someone’s personal information out on a public platform.
there is absolutely no non-embarrassing way to announce this to 3.3k people on wattpad of all places, but i will be the first to say this. as you all know me by estelle / nicole, i want to come forward and admit that my neither are my real names. my name is regina. and as for my age, i was born in 2009. i have only shared this information with my close friends on here, but ever since i have, i have been wanting to come clean about it online as well because i want to be able to be myself.
i created a fake identity for myself the very second my profile was made on here because 1), the internet is a scary place and being so young when i first joined, i wasn’t so fond of the idea of people having my real info. and 2), i was worried people irl would find me as i know quite a few who have this app haha. as i got older (more recently), i regret my choices to lie in the first place but i was also too scared and embarrassed to come forward about this in the first place.
however, as i mentioned in the start of this paragraph, this is primarily about some drama that has happened a month (?) ago.
recently (literally last night), i found out that these two people have somehow found my personal information (name and age), and instead of confronting me privately about it, they went straight to their message boards and although not directly mentioning me—they still flaunted the information.
also, in the past, i was told that one of them either tried to or has found my home address. i am not 100% sure about this, but on top of everything else, i can’t say that i don’t believe this to be the truth.
