hi! it's me, the annoying girl posting angry comments on your fic
          I thought about it and actually Tom's awakening in the duel with Malfoy bears a lot of resemblance to the awakening of secular Jews in the 40's, and sadly also the awakening of secular Jews in Western society after 7.10.23
          it doesn't really matter how hard they tried to blend in. just like Tom realised that he and Harry will always be filthy mudbloods to the Slytherins, we realised that "woke" society is not going to accept us fully - ever. and I think that Tom - or at least Harry - should reach the conclusion we reached: that we're okay with that hate, because we couldn't care less about their stupid opinions. I think Tom really should go with the plan to become the "perfect progressive half-blood" and outlive all of his tormentors without giving a rat's ass about what they have to say

you know what I realized recently?
            there is no such thing as peace in the Middle East. there never was. we're just either at war or taking a break until the next war
            peace is NEVER going to happen because our disagreement is not about land or even ideology. it's about the right of the Jewish nation to exist. we cannot agree that we have no right to exist, and they are not going to change their mind anytime soon - hence, true peace will never be acheived.
