I love reading, writing, and storytelling. When my siblings and I were small, our mother read aloud to us while our father told us stories. In school, I learned how to write intuitively, both academically and creatively, through the books I read. Thus, I won on-the-spot writing contests and became editor in chief of both my high school and college papers. I wanted to be a lawyer-journalist, but I became a teacher, instead. As a writing teacher, I help my students shape their drafts with patience, empathy, respect, and enthusiasm.

"Mag-inang Mahirap" is complete. Thank you, dear readers, for reading all of the 44 chapters! May the lessons of history be "a lamp unto our feet" toward righting the wrongs of SOCIAL INJUSTICE!
