@capuletters Stop being a bitch, omg. If a person asked "why are you wearing braids?" And you went "because it's a way of representing my culture" and they replied with "I don't like it, it's weird" you'd defo be crawling out of your skin, getting livid, and probably feel bad. 
            
            Just because it's not your culture doesn't mean y'all can dismiss other people's culture and how they feel about it being disrespected. 

@rayzofmelanin Exactly! These ppl love putting their celebrities on a pedestal and giving them the role of victim by infantilizing them when they're adults! Nobody cares or understands until it's their culture being mocked and ridiculed with outside races speaking on a situation that has literally nothing to do with them that's disregarding how they feel as a black person I would know!

            Are we dead ass? What she said was rude and disrespectful and ppl have a right to feel hurt by what she said it's not about being a "poc" it's about ones culture being mocked to their FACE.
            
            Eveythings all fun and dandy until it's YOUR culture and than you're all butt hurt. Stop worshipping and idolizing these people and hold these celebrities accountable cuz it really is that deep. 
            
            Like if she said that about our culture as black ppl y'all would probably be giving very different responses.
