Alex Aller is a musician and writer from Queens, New York. She wrote her first book (that one was really bad) at fifteen during the longest summer of her life, when she was grounded after getting caught so drunk that she licked her hand like a cat trying to convince her mother she was sober. Alas, she was not, sober that is. 

She went on to pursue music and even found some success when she signed to Sony RED under the artist moniker, Skela. She went on tour, jumped around on stage, belted cathedral high notes in front of crowded rooms and did her best to keep a red wig from sliding down her head each night. She loved her team and fans... but still an uneasy feeling lingered. She walked away from it (people called her crazy) and decided to burn her wigs because fine, she can be a little dramatic sometimes. 

The truth was that Alex Aller had never stopped writing books. She spent a decade of her life pouring her soul into worlds she never shared with others. Until one day, she realized that it was 2019, Patti Smith was a best selling author and the internet had already been around for a very long time. It hit her -  she could self publish her own books and music now. She would have to start from scratch, but that didn't scare her because secretly as she always suspected, she was a cat and had 8 more lives.
