the scouts occupying in marley was causing enough stress as it was. they were pressed for time on a mission, and to top it off it was pouring rain. it caused the already grim country to now be gloomy.
thunder occasionally echoed through the skies, causing jean to wake up. each sound of the thunder’s roar made him think a titan was shifting. however, it was just nature taking course. his eyes panned the room and what caught his attention was marie.
jean had no idea the female had snuck into his bed and was..hiding? was this because of the thunder ? “ hey marie…you okay ? don’t let the thunder bother you.”

“eh nightmares, blah, blah. not big deal—oh- you went quiet…did i say that at all bad time ? i can uh totally take that back if it made you feel uncomfortable” jean nearly stammered. he wasn’t sure what to do, especially because he couldnt see her. jean felt himself shrivel up as he pulled his arms back. did he make a mistake ? the feeling subsided once he felt her touch.
