            [ caiya’s breath stills for a moment as artemis’ fingertips brush against her neck to move her hair, her eyes staring ahead. she bites down on her tongue, as if she fears what she could say next. with a soft inhale and a slow exhale, she smiles. it doesn’t matter if the other goddess cannot see it, caiya feels it forming. ]   you have been with me for quite a long time, love. i don’t think i could imagine a day without you by my side.   [ it when the necklace is secure that she turns her head so that her chin rests against her shoulder, just to look at the other goddess. ]   as the moon may always shine on me, i am always around you. all you have to do is call my name, i shall be there.

⠀ ⠀ you  never  know,  the  worlds  not  like  our  worlds  of  old.  i  hear  mortals  don’t  respect  or  worship  us  as  they  did  before.  rumors  spread  that  they’ve  managed  to  come  into  power  that  rivals  even  zeus  himself.  [  absentmindedly,  as  she  talks,  artemis  circles  the  goddess,  hands  slipping  the  cord  and  arrowhead  around  caiya’s  beck.  she  moves  her  hair  slightly,  securing  the  necklace.  ]  whatever  the  case  may  be,  know  that  i  will  always  be  there,  flower.  the  moon  always  shines  on  you.

            [ caiya watches as artemis takes the arrowhead that she had just given to caiya, a small smile tugging at her lips. brown hues flicker down to nimble fingers tying the string, securing it in a way that caiya’s never seen before. ]   thank you, love. i will carry it with me always, though i cannot see a time in which i would need to be protected, as i am not often put into dangerous situations. i appreciate your intentions, though.

            they are hurting, whether it be themselves or others, and there is not a single thing that i can do about it. i don’t know why they are filled with such hatred and disdain for themselves, but it hurts my heart.  (..)  where did i go wrong?

 ⠀⠀⠀  ok, i will go into more depth later but — she’s the eldest sibling of her pantheon, she likes to meddle in the affairs of her siblings since they have all been neglected by their parents, and she LOOOOVES to walk the earth and give people flowers at random! her realm directly connects to cassius’ through pathways, and they visit each other often!! celiya (time/evolution goddess) is most definitely her favorite sister, but cassius is her favorite brother. they’re the first set of triplets — ofc they’re gonna be her favs!!!
