The next time someone tries to say that racism doesn’t exist, remember Sonya Massey. She was murdered in cold blood by a police officer in her own home over a POT. That mad did not care that he was taking an innocent life. He did not care that she had a family.
Her death wasn’t an “accident”. He deliberately shot her in the head. And when his partner tried to administer aid, instead of getting a med kit like he was asked to, he instead chose to take his time getting it and later ignored it in favor of talking to other officers when they arrived on the scene.
Her death could have easily been prevented. If he really thought she would attack him, he could have detained her WITHOUT killing her.
That man didn’t feel ANY remorse.
