it’s insane how my coworker, who has never gone through a miscarriage, is the one telling me to get over, let go, and move on from my miscarriage.
it’s been almost ten months since i lost my baby, that (to me) is not enough time for me to have grieved and mourned the loss of my baby and the future we would’ve had.
but, of course, it’s always the single elderly woman who has never gone through what i’ve gone through that somehow knows better than me and my body when my grief has been going on for far too long.
my baby will forever be remembered and loved. whether i carried them for seven weeks or seven months (it was seven weeks), no matter how far along i was in my pregnancy, my baby matters. my baby exists. my baby is part of me and my life forever.
so. no. i will not get over, let go, nor move on from grieving my angel. i will forever be grieving and missing them, for the rest of my life and more. they’re my baby. always. and their existence will be forever engraved in my heart and my life.
