            taking the more casual questions as a sign of acceptance he allowed his arms to lower. lighting up a bit where he stood — he had been arrested one too many times for being suspected of something. although when he first came to earth he / did / deserve it , with the lack of understanding over normal customs. 
            
            he nodded his head to confirm the assumption. he didn't have an issue understanding he just .. couldn't speak himself. technically this would be his first language were it not for his power.
            
            he squinted a bit as he thought over how to convey all of that. shuffling a bit where he stood and eventually settled in making an ' x ' motion over his own mouth.
