ok , so i’ve been thinking and i’ve decided that i’m going to TEMPORARILY take down maid to be so that i can finish editing the book . honestly , i know that you all are tired of waiting on me because i’m a slow , slow person when it comes to doing things (writing and editing , I’M TALKING TO YOU , lol) . so i’m just going to go ahead and edit the entire book all at once , so that when i do publish it again , you all can read the book in its entirety instead of reading the would-be 20 chapters that i have edited (i’m lying , i only have 12 chapters edited , oops) . since i tend to write 30+ page chapters , it’s taking me a bit longer than i anticipated , but i don’t want to rush it because that’s what landed me in this mess in the first place . for my new readers (aka , those that were fortunate enough not to read the train wreck that was the first 3 versions) , maid to be was once a completed book , so i already have 40-ish chapters written , i just need to edit them so that they make sense + fit my new aesthetics . i promise you that i’m not giving up on this book because it essentially started my “career” here on wattpad , and it’s literally my baby , so i could never in a million years abandon it . i just need some time to get her together (please don’t ask me “how much” because i honestly don’t know , and i don’t want to give you all false hope like i’ve been doing these past few months) . in simpler terms , i’m taking down the 16 chapters that are currently up because they don’t reflect my current writing style , and i think that you all will prefer the edited version much better . so yeah , i hope that you all understand . my future works won’t be this chaotic , i promise (i’ve already decided that i’m going to start writing my books out in full before i release them so that you all don’t have to wait on my slow ass to update every other week) . i hope that you all are doing well , and as always , i love you all so much !

Heyy I love your book and I know that it is annoying receiving so many messages asking you to update but it is only because we love your book so much and can't wait to read the following chapters that you have written. So... please tell us when you are planning to update because the anticipation is killing us.
