@binniebaker Haha, OMG, that's amazing. BTW, I'm really bummed you didn't get any responses to your last question. I'd like to know about any good subreddits, too....
Does anyone know of good subreddits for creative writing, literary studies, and other similar academic discussions?
" Was I ignorant, then, when I was seventeen? I think not. I knew everything. A quarter-century's experience of life since then has added nothing to what I knew. The one difference is that at seventeen I had no 'realism'. " —Sun & Steel, Yukio Mishima
@binniebaker I try to find good ones. I have an "inspiration" note on my phone where I put qoutes I like from books I've read to read when I need to get me out of a writing slump
Yo, what happened to Vivi? Maybe I missed something
@AJJennings_ cool, I misremembered I thought it was a separate book for some reason and was afraid you deleted it
Fun fact of the day: 'Binnie Baker' is a fictional name. My name isn't Binnie Baker, or anything remotely close. I have a French/German name. I chose a pen name mostly because I feel I'm most creative when anonymous. There's no intricate backstory behind 'Binnie Baker'. 'Binnie' was a random shower thought, and 'Baker' is the English translation of 'Boulanger', which was the name of a very good friend of mine. I began writing with intense dedication while studying for my bar exams, though I've written for the majority of my life. The stress and immense pressure from those exams nearly drove me to the edge, and writing and reading became my escapes. This might be another reason I went with a pen name—to separate my personal life from my writer's life. I used to assume 'Binnie' was a feminine name, but I've been misgendered online a few times. I find it quite amusing. Plus, I believe it adds on another layer of anonimity, which allows me to write without any barrier.
@binniebaker lmao I wonder how many other people think im a man. Though I guess I've achieved my goal of anonymity if people do! And I guess it makes sense if I write like a man since I'm mostly writing in a male POV atm
Jester first followed you because there is a woman in our community with a very similar name to your username. Except she’s an angry New Yorker and standup comedian in her 80s.

"None will ever be a true Parisian who has not learned to wear a mask of gaiety over his sorrows and one of sadness, boredom, or indifference over his inward joy." — Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera
"But anyhow: what can a decent man speak about with the most pleasure? Answer: about himself. So then, I, too, will speak about myself." —Fyodor Dostoevsky, Notes from the Underground
Wtf I swear I just have this whole short story written about cerebral implants!???!! This was my side quest this week. Now Neuralink pops up in the news!!????
@Zerseus not exactly horror, but it's something inspired by Anthony Burgess' ultraviolence I'd say. Hehe.
@binniebaker lol I hope it's a horror short story because man, there are so many ways in which this kinda tech can go wrong
