Dear people with/without anxiety,
Hi everyone so I been with my battle with anxiety for 8 long years . I just want to tell people that anxiety is a battle to not just cancer and depression. I do care about people who have that stuff to I just feel like don't notice the truth about anxiety. So many people have anxiety and don't speak up because they don't want to hear " You're okay", " Just breathe", " You'll be fine", and " It will pass." Some people don't understand this doesn't always helps it sometimes makes it worse by causing us to think about it more. Sometimes just after one attack caused by anxiety can send someone in a downward spiral. I went through that twice one time it lasted a whole year and I wouldn't eat or leave the house so I had to go to a hospital for a whole day ,I bet other people spent longer because anxiety but, it felt like weeks. When anxiety causes these spirals most people get really bad depression and do self harming or try to commit sucide. Also some people take medicine for anxiety and it can cause those thoughts and actions ( I know because i take that medicine).A good handful of people die a year because of anxiety and you probably know why. So if you know someone with anxiety please give them a hug and tell them you love them and your here if you need them.
