Thinking of unpublishing “{VEINS}” to do some heavy editing and finish a couple more chapters. I started writing it when I was 16 (I’m grown now lmao) and I don’t like the way I introduced some of the characters or some of the things I wrote and how I wrote them for many reasons. These are things that I’m realizing I wouldn’t like as a reader or don’t like as person in general. Those who still read may notice my progress, but I want consistency and I just don’t have that the way I’d like for not only me, but y’all. I tried too hard at times with stuff like making characters I know none of us would like in real life, and I don’t think I even executed that properly. Of course when you’re storytelling you don’t want 10 of the same characters or a buncha characters that reflect like you as the author (for story purposes), but there is a lot I feel I could’ve done better. This ain’t me saying imma stop writing, but that I recognize my inconsistencies, the cringe of some of it (as well as the moments I know we all side eyed and probably made some people stop reading), and how much a couple of y’all are down with this story for real. I actually do write, so this isn’t just a fan fiction (I just so happen to use musicians I love as face claims) it’s a story, and I want us all to enjoy it. I also wanna apologize for how long it has taken me to write this book, but I’m glad I grew with it to realize these things. This was long but I hope someone read it :) I appreciate the love I receive sooo much, I really do have so many ideas for this last third of book and I want y’all to be able to reread, thoroughly enjoy it for what it is.
