I've been reworking Tens Day the last few months (two revisions), and I've decided to unpublish it for the time being, since I've added, deleted and rearranged so much material. I plan on sharing the revision some time in the near future. As always, thanks for reading.

We meet the cartel assassin Caran Slake in the latest installment of Tens Day. There is a PG-13-level (I think) scene of violence -- outside of an encounter or two much later in the novel -- it is the most violent. The intent was to portray Caran Slake in a certain light, not to overindulge in violence for its own sake. If this scene alone warrants a ratings upgrade, please let me know. I want to keep the novel all ages and will rework the scene in order to maintain the all-inclusive rating. Looking ahead, the next update will introduce the teen Twiggy and the scheming Garfin, street-level operatives involved in petty crimes, who round out the ensemble cast. The plot is starting to thicken and narrative threads are beginning to overlap and intersect now. I hope you stick around for a bit to see and help me realize the story. As always, thanks for reading. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I revised Chapter IV of The Initiation the other evening, cutting about 100 words or so from that segment. I am currently working on a prose-comic version of the story with a talented artist, and might be tweaking some of the later segments in the near future, as well, while I continue to work on Tens Day. So, any feedback or observations concerning The Initiation are welcome, since it is still a work in progress. I also will be posting the fourth installment of Tens Day in the next day or so. I'm at about 29,000 words now for that novel and hope to start posting two chapters a week from it from here on out. As always, thanks for reading.

With "The Initiation" concluded and with enough material on hand, I just launched Tens Day, a novel that will be my primary focus in the coming days. I hope you will give it a shot. The story isn't exactly new, although it is being expanded and transposed from its original state. I will share more about its history in the coming days, too.
