Just read your author note in Promise to Betrayal. Just want to say I am loving the story so far. I think your writing skills are great. Way better than some of the others I have tried to read on Wattpad. But the most important piece of advice I want to give is to write for yourself. Be true to yourself in your work. Yes, you put your work out there to share with us, but it is still a part of you. So focus more on the positive feedback and constructive criticisms. Ignore the rest. Remember that the unhappy ones are usually the loudest and comment more than those who are satisfied. So for every negative comment remember there are probably two or three people who read and liked the story but just don’t comment. You don’t owe anything to us as the reader except to provide us with the best story you can. We have no right to expect more from you. And as you said, if I as the reader do not like what I am reading, then it is my responsibility to move on to something I do enjoy—- and not my responsibility to try to force you to change your writing style or content to match my preferences. You keep doing you and writing heartfelt emotional stories for us to enjoy.
