Hey guys, and welcome, new followers! I know I have been inactive for a long period of time; my life has not wanted to slow down at all :/ I'm currently moving into college and on the long car ride there, I did manage to come up with a little poem. It is posted in Ellipsis. Check it out when you can! I'd love to hear your thoughts.

And I will try to get to catching up on those prompts for Epitaph - I have not forgotten!

          	See ya,
          	Laurel

Considering submitting either the poem 'I Am Not Beautiful' (https://www.wattpad.com/204486443-ellipsis-poem-i-am-not-beautiful) or the poetic short story 'Funebrae' (https://www.wattpad.com/story/58558177-funebrae) to that writing competition this year. Anyone wanna help me pick?

Thanks for the input! And it's for a writing competition that's hosted in my state.

So, I know I didn't complete my Color Me November challenge. I am slightly disappointed in myself about that. But I do have a good reason! All Thanksgiving I was with family, and it was the first time in a long time I got to see all of them, so I was spending as much time with them as I could. I think I'm going to finish it anyway, though it's December now. Hmmm...I'm thinking about doing a short story/flash fiction challenge for this month, maybe not one every day (because short stories take more work), but perhaps a holiday compilation?

Anyway! I would like to thank everyone who participated in #ColorMeNovember. It was so fun being able to see everyone write poetry and expand their abilities/explore new topics! I'll definitely still be perusing everyone's poetry. There's just so much to read! :D It's been an honor being able to do this with you all. Thank you!

Hello all! I am terribly sorry for the update spam on Color Me November; the Create section has been quite a pain in the rear, and sometimes publishes my work displaying 0 words even though there are words in the section. Sigh. Everything should be up and running as normal for today's installment: Scarlet (Fistfool). Carry on, my dear writers and readers!

You guys, I'm publishing my first book. It's called: "I Hate Figuring Out Statistical Analyses in Science: A Memoir." Keep your eyes peeled for this one in Barnes and Noble stores near you. I know you'll love it - especially if the words ANOVA, t-test, Chi-square, p-value, etc. give you revolting nightmares and haunt you at every waking moment.

          Cheers!
