I'm curious what people think about downloading and printing Wattpad/Ao3/online books for personal use. Obviously not to sell, distribute, or profit off of which isn't okay. But just to keep as a physical copy because some of my favorite books in the world are here on Wattpad and don't have copies I can get in bookstores.
As I writer I don't love it, but it would also be very flattering. As a reader I understand the desire to own a physical copy of a really good book that isn't in bookstores.
What do you guys think?

I recently entered my first competitions on Wattpad, and the experience has been so much fun!
I wrote "Flirt With the Loser" for the Open Novella contest and frantically entered it into the NanoWatt when I realized the deadline was coming up shortly after. The novella was written in such a rush and still made the Longlist somehow.
It feels surreal since the book is entirely a first draft, and I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to participate!

A Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy (technically aro/ace?) - my favorite on this list! 6. The Coldest Touch (contemporary) 7. These Witches Don't Burn (contemporary ) 8. This is How You Lose the Time War (a little more literary than high fantasy unlike the rest on this list)
