AC grew up surrounded by faith, imagination, and books. While others played outdoors, she disappeared into encyclopedias, almanacs, and novels that opened windows to politics, astronomy, and faraway worlds. For her, the world was never just a playground-it was a puzzle waiting to be solved.

Her sanctuary became the six-story library of Saint Louis University, which she fondly calls her "Library of Universes." Among its aisles, she rediscovered Filipino heritage through José Rizal, wandered through Shakespeare and Sun Tzu, and fell in love with the tender worlds of Frances Hodgson Burnett. She also delighted in the vibrant pages of Philippine pocketbooks, especially Rose Tan's romances, alongside global authors like Nicholas Sparks, Stephenie Meyer, Arthur Golden, Suzanne Collins, and E.L. James. Each story became a seed, nurturing her love for words.

Her passion deepened through Asian dramas-sweeping tales that bridged history, love, and destiny. But one series changed everything: Princess Agents (2017). Its unfinished ending stirred her soul, leading her to the original novel Chu Qiao Zhuan (The Legend of Chu Qiao) by Xiao Xiang Dong'er, from the Winter Classics collection. What began as fan translations for a global audience soon became her writing awakening.

Moved by the worldwide longing for closure, AC wrote continuations that gave Yan Xun, Chu Qiao, and Yuwen Yue the endings they deserved. "It came like a miracle," she says. "Never planned, but always meant to be."

When not writing, AC strums her guitar, sketches, or curates playlists that mirror her stories' emotions. Yet writing remains her compass-she doesn't outline, but uncovers, following her characters where they lead.

Today, she dreams of sharing her novels with readers everywhere-stories of love, resilience, and freedom.
