Ever since I started reading James Joyce's Ulysses, I've been fascinated by automatic writing and the kind of mind state one has to be in to write stuff like that. ‘the end is nigh’ and ‘spooky ghost in my bedroom’ are the products of my dim room and my note pad. When I can't do that, I write without using backspace or even correcting my spelling and grammar. I'm nowhere near the lunatic products of Joyce's silly head, but my automatic writing I'd say is coming along nicely in it's little bursts and pops like these two. Meaning and purpose still are nowhere to be seen in these blurbs and that kind of tells you where I'm at up there sometimes..
