So here's the deal. Recently I've been having to cope with homophobic people hating on my opinion and what I identify as. For all of you who don't know, I am bisexual. Yesterday, Australia voted yes for the SSM campaign, and this meant alot for me and many of my family and friends. It makes me happy that most of my loved ones are supportive of me and other LGBTQ+ people of this world. I guess what I'm going to be saying in this status is that no matter what sexuality, race, color or religion, we are all THE SAME. We're all humans, and we were all born from the womb. I don't understand why people must be so negative and hateful towards LGBTQ+ people just because their choice in who they want to love is different. I myself am happy about being bisexual, and I in no way think negitavely of other people who are different. I in no way think that being bisexual is greedy, and I have a good way of explaining it to people who do not understand. You like chocolate AND vanilla ice cream. You love them both. But when you're eating and enjoying that damn good chocolate, you probably aren't fantasizing and wanting the vanilla. Why? Because both ice creams are satisfying to you. You don't need both to feel fufilled with life.
I have already lost one of my friends today by finding out that they are homophobic (I'm not going to name and shame) and I'll tell you what - you can really find out people's true colors in the darkest of times.
If you support LGBTQ+, and have no problems with that sort of thing, you are more than welcome in my life. We need all the support we can get amongst all the hate in the world. If you do not mind LGBTQ+ and their preferences, just as long as you do not talk trash about them (or hate on them for that matter), you are welcome in my life. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you don't like LGBTQ+, I'd like you to get out of my life. I know, harsh, but I don't need the negetivity.
Love IS love. It will always win.
