i just read in another life. if you dont know what that story is, its a fanfiction based on a bokuaka hospital au. i dont want to spoil, but it really inspired me in a way, and has also left me crying- no- SOBBING in class.

but i think if i made a series of different books for a few different haikyuu characters but surrounding hanahaki you guys would like that more. plus it sounds fun to write. of course there would be angst though. the disease is pretty poetic if you think about it :,).

for yall dat dont know what hanahaki disease is, its basically when one loves someone but its one sided, then you cough up petals, flowers, etc. its slowly killing you. you can get it removed by surgery but you’ll be incapable of love. i think you can also get rid of it by confessing and they return your feelings? idk. but its obviously not a real disease since its only in anime

i’m fine with either one. i’m experimenting with it right now, but i think i’ll do ones where the reader is the one sick, and some where the love interest is sick. and thanks! i’m glad you like the idea :D
