So uh how does one go about addressing someone plagiarizing your fic? The person did mention in their fic that it's "inspired" by mine, but also it has ALL the same beats and plot points, and even the main conflict is practically identical. It just feels icky atp. They admitted that they got carried away and followed my fic too closely but they didn't take it down?!?!

Thats not okay! It sounds like they straight took your story and thats wrong. I hate ppl who do that, try messaging them about it and if they don't listen or claim they didn't steal anything, call them out!

@ace_asterisk | if you’re comfortable, i’d drop their @ so we can report them for plagiarizing because that’s genuinely not okay. i’ve found that these people generally won’t take their copied fics down unless forced to :/ they literally admitted to copying your stuff, so there’s NO reason they should still have it up
