if boys can call girls things like "my lady," and "darling," in stories, women ought to have good nicknames for men, too. what do I call him, "sir,"? or maybe "gentleman," would be nice. *scoffs*
          
          I mean, I suppose darling can be used by both, but I want something as beautiful as 'my lady,'

ik I haven't done one of these updates in a long time, but trust me when I tell you I haven't had the energy to.
          My midterms are happening and it's a constant mental battle, I stay up almost every night, I have dark circles under my eyes, and my exams still don't go as good as expected. Especially Math. My grade for Math comes to a C or a D, and my father will seriously kill me if he finds out.
          
          He's been asking me about it, but I've been putting him off. I don't know whether there's gonna be a re-test, but if he goes to the meeting on result day, or finds out about my grades, I'm dead. I'm so scared and I know my family will be really disappointed later.
          
          I've been doing fairly good in my other tests. I got an A+ in Global Perspectives, and I expect the same in English. But the only issue, like I said, is Math. Tomorrow I have Physics, and I'm really worried about it.
          
          On top of that, I've been sick for like a week or two, RIGHT before my Math exam happened, and I've got a fever, headache, and can't eat properly. It's better now, but sometimes, when I'm giving an examination, my head hurts to the point that I have to give myself a few minutes to get it together. I also hurt my knees really bad while running yesterday, and got both of them scraped quite bad, so it hurts to walk, too, and I can't bend them. 
          
          I feel like a failure, to be honest, because my parents work so hard to help me get all the good things in life, and I let them down like this by not studying enough. I've always been a more-than-average student, but that kinda faded to sometimes-better-than-average in eighth grade. My parents don't get that, and always expect the best from me, and I still wish for that academic validation, but I just can't do/work for it anymore, and that's stupid.
          
          I probably shouldn't have typed out all of this, though, so, um, I hope everyone's having a better day/existence than I am. lemme just go watch more Loki edits now, read Dealing with Our Demons, and die-

today I found out that the children in middle school have renamed 'pakdam pakdai' into 'skibidi-something' and 'ready, go' into 'skibidi haste'. I saw them do it. I SAW THEM DO IT-
