I just finished reading "The Heartbreak Hypothesis" by @danielletalbury and what an amazing read it was! The story follows Madison Watson, who has literally vowed before starting university 'no men' because of a certain past heartbreak. She thinks 'heartbreak is inevitable and love is a construct.' That’s exactly what becomes the hypothesis of her assignment and two human guineapigs (without their knowledge), her ticket to an internship. However, new friendships, unexpected drama, and a new romance might just prove Madison that her hypothesis has perhaps been flawed. https://www.wattpad.com/story/235254877

@AriaGraceWrites Hi I do not currently have the time to go through some of your story thoroughly and provide detailed pointers but I did have a brief overlook at "Blue Light & the Darkness" and from what I can see, you are on the right path! Especially for a Fantasy story. The descriptions are there and beautifully creates vivid images. If you are planning on gaining audience on Wattpad with this book though, or planning to submit your story to Wattys 2025, I'd suggest if you can, even if little, follow their IEC (Immediate, Engaging, Commercial) rule. What these 3 factors mean, you can find more about them in the Wattys 2025 book (Judging Criteria chapter). From my first impression of the 1st chapter of your story, while it has good descriptions, it ended too quickly and suddenly. Without a proper hook to make me intrigued about the next chapter. You could have a look at how some popular Fantasy book authors end their first chapters to have an idea. For example, the prologue of "Game of Thrones" ends with this paragraph. 'The broken sword fell from nerveless fingers. Will closed his eyes to pray. Long, elegant hands brushed his cheek, then tightened around his throat. They were gloved in the finest moleskin and sticky with blood, yet the touch was icy cold.' Otherwise you are doing good!

Thanks for all your wishes but the laser surgery was cancelled tomorrow. My father had a talk with few other doctors and they suggested to get a second opinion on my eyes since I am still young and also have some exams many of which are computer based, coming up. After that, final decisions will be made.
Also, Wattys 2025 guidebook has been posted! Seeing the deadline and eligibility criteria I feel relieved as "Fall of Dragonesia" is eligible plus I will hopefully be able to complete my current ongoing novel before the deadline which is in August.

Okay, news everyone. I wanted to write new chapters these past weeks but only managed to write one due to my eye problem and college entrance exams alongside that. So possibly next month again I will be able to return to a normal writing schedule because I got the date for an urgent laser eye surgery (laser eye barrage treatment), which will be conducted tomorrow.
I am perfectly fine thank you all for your wishes and concern ❤️❤️❤️.
