At a time, I used to be full of life,

Taking great strides and eyes on the future.
That was who I was the last time I was here.
Mistakes were made and piles of regrets grew.
I hid from them and waited it out,
My pride would not let me face it.
The regret and pain grew and grew,
Until it threatens to devour me whole,
Into an insanity built by my own failures.
Here I stand a mere husk of a human,
Eyes lifeless yet full of pain.
Broken heart at a fault of my own,
No bayonet can hurt more,
Then from this guilt and pain that resulted.
Time grows longer and the window of chance shrinks,
Yet I still stand here afraid,
To finally confront my mistakes.
I'm sorry,
I loved you,
And I will until the end of the eternity.

*^True story. It's full of pain.
