Hi everyone, happy new year by the way ^_^ I realised it's been almost 2 years since I started publishing my witchcraft beginners guide, and I just have a few chapters left until it's complete!
          	
          	So I feel like now is the right time to announce that I have began accepting donations if you wish to financially support my works. My works will remain free on Wattpad, but if my books have been particularly helpful to you, you have the option to thank me monetarily :)

Hey. I'm Aki. I found this via reddit. I'm looking to become a witch. I haven't used Wattpad for a while I just let my older sister write stories on here. I have two questions. One, should I change his name? My older sister made it two years ago. (She was strange) I don't mind it, but I wanna know if it's something I should keep or change. Two, I'm making a BOS (On Wattpad) and I don't know how to start it and what to name it. I know I'm going to have "Book of Shadows" in the title, but what should I add to it if I should add anything? Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you get time to answer my questions, but if you don't it's fine. Thank you.

Hi again! I hope you don’t mind me asking questions :) I’m looking for ideas for a love spell that would help SHOW me if a person is interested in me or not. You might ask why I can’t just ask the person up-front, and that situation is kinda complicated. So, I thought why not create a spell for it? I don’t want to manipulate someone’s soul/free will, so I wanted your opinion? I couldn’t find anything online about it either, it was all about making someone love you (which I don’t want) or etc. if you can’t answer this, I understand :)

            I don’t think it’s a spell you’re looking for; you’re looking for “divination”. This is a practice witches use to gain insight on themselves, other people, and situations. 
            There are literally thousands of divination methods, but you might have heard of tarot cards, pendulums, runes, astrology, etc? These are examples of divination systems. 
            
            For example you could use tarot cards and ask “What are signs that this person is interested in me?” And then determine the answer from the cards you pull. 
            
            Of course, the best way to determine if someone is interested in you is to ask them :) Now this would be a good time to use a spell; cast a spell that will give you the confidence to ask them :D

Hello! How are you? I’ve been enjoying your books, and I had a question for you. What do you think about using a fake candle if you can’t have one? Would it have the same effect as a natural candle? I’ve tried to research it online but I can’t seem to find anything about this subject.

Hi @wanderinggsouls :) This is a great question, and the answer is yes, you can use fake candles. Candles essentially have three primary uses in witchcraft; to symbolise an idea, to act as a focal point, and to provide energy. Fake candles can do all of these things. 
            
            For example, you can use LED candles - you can even get very convincing looking ones made from real wax that flicker. LED candles can be used to symbolise an idea (e.g. god & goddess on an altar), especially if you're able to get them in different colours. LED candles can still act as a focal point during a spell; you can stare into them whilst visualising your goal. This effect is made better if you get realistic ones that flicker. Thirdly, LED candles can provide energy for your spell like any other. They are battery-powered, and this energy depletes as the LED "burns". So just like a real candle provides energy, LED candles do too.
            
            There are drawbacks, of course. You can't really anoint them with magickal oil, or carve symbols into them. You can't let them burn all the way down or dispose of them ritually. But these are all minor concerns if spellcasting is your goal; they can still assist your spellwork.

Hey,I have a question. If you ever watched tvd you surely know what compelling is and my question is if there is a spell that is similar to this?
          Like I don't know how to explain it like control somebody? Change their mind?

@DeadlyCrush  The witchcraft practised in real life does not work like it does in movies and TV shows, so there is not a spell like this. The closest thing is what's known as glamour spells, which is basically a spell that changes your aura, so you change your demeanour and behaviour, and therefore that changes how other people perceive you. Glamour spells are usually used for increasing self-confidence and attractiveness, but feasibly you can use similar methods to make yourself more intimidating or mysterious, etc.
