The sense of numbness washed over me, empty numbness it was for sure; but towards what? 
          
          The easiest answer would be to say "over life", generalizing that my whole existence, my whole lifespan was messed up enough for me to 'feel' numb (contrary to what the word means)
          
          But saying my life was shitty in its entirety would be wrong, it's not that. I had my good days; days when I really was on top of the fucking world. 
          
          But the past week, I've started to fade away, just like the laughter of the people I called family was slowly fading away putting me in the background of my own spotlight. 
          
          I'm there, amidst them, but....
          Am i really? 
          
          I'm fading, I'm fading I'm hell bound to fade. 
          
          But am i fading into my own book or am I fading away in yours?
