But with your concern about the attitude of the prince he doesn't really like women/girls but as far as his attitude goes you could say he was being nice. Plus he knows who has to be nice to and who not to he's smart enough. With Aria barging in I didn't include it but the gards did try to stop her until they noticed it was her, 'since the prince was waiting for her to wake up' she doesn't know. But they have like a special relationship that's why included their childhood. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
