Sneak Peak!?!
          This is why Leo never left camp. He got arrested. 
          But he didn’t do anything wrong! Or, at least he didn’t think he did anything wrong. 
          But he had no clue what was going on. He had just been hanging out with his friends, you know, minding his own business. 
          Like the police should have done! 
          When the cops came out of no where, slammed him to the ground, jostled a piece of official-looking paper in his face and roughly cuffed him. 
          His friends just stared at him, helped and stunned. Leo felt the exact same way. 
          He was shoved into the backseat of a cop car and taken down to the station, where he was placed into a holding cell, which was cold, very, very cold. Leo hated the cold- no. He couldn’t stand the cold. 
          Leo sat down on the hard, metal bench and stared at the ground. He didn’t understand what was going on. And that was his problem with humans. They didn’t always have to have a reason to do things. An that scared Leo. Machines were better. They were always better. 
          “Valdez.” Leo started. The police must have gotten quite keys since he was last in Juvie. 
          “Why am I here?” Leo asked, standing up, making sure to keep a safe distance from all of the cells walls. 
          “Looks like you’ve been on the run so long you’ve forgotten that you’ve worried you foster-folks back home.” The officer said, unlocking the cell door and holding out a pair of cuffs. 
          “Is that really necessary?” Leo frowned, holding his wrists out in front of him. 
          “I’m sorry buddy.” The officer twirled one of their fingers. Leo’s scowled deepened. 
          “I’m a minor. I want a fair state representative.” He had been over this so many times it had basically become second nature to him. 
          “Thought so.” The officer sighed, turning Leo around and cuffing his hands behind his back. 
          “Don’t take me anywhere until I get my representative.” Leo pulled away from the officer’s grasp. 
          “Fine. Sit your butt back down.” Leo raised an eyebrow. “I’m not uncuffing you.”

I just finished my first book! It's called The Good. The Evil. The Grey. It was actually my midterm project for Creative Writing so feel free to check it out and give me feedback, you can even guess what grade you think I'll get on it. I know it's short for my usual story standards but it is actually 24 pages on google docs.
