 VIGILANTE GROUP — "The Underdogs”
A band of outcasts, betrayed by society and abandoned by heroes. What began as survival turned into silent retribution

          	⚔️ Group History
They were failed by the system.
Rou, Akaito, Tekiō, and Kūkan endured years of physical and psychological abuse in middle school. When Coral and Cinder were targeted, Rou became their protector — the first to fight back. Eventually, all six fled society entirely. Living off scraps and shadows, they became vigilantes to protect other abandoned kids and punish abusers.
Rou led them until a failed mission two years ago — ambushed by Pro Heroes led by Hawks and Best Jeanist. Rou sacrificed himself to save the others, dying in Akaito’s arms. Since then, Akaito leads in his brother’s stead, carrying the weight of every mistake.

          	Background / Past
Coral (Nyana Kai Amane) and Cinder grew up in the same neighborhood as Rou, Akaito, Tekiō, and Kūkan.
From childhood, the boys were relentlessly bullied — beaten, humiliated, and isolated. Teachers looked away, nurses dismissed injuries, and even their families chose denial over protection.
Worse, whenever Rou, Akaito, Tekiō, or Kūkan resisted or “misbehaved,” their tormentors would retaliate by targeting Coral and Cinder, who were still in daycare at the time. The boys learned to endure abuse in silence just to keep the younger girls safe.
          	No adults intervened.
No one believed them.
Their cries for help were treated as noise — something to ignore until it stopped.
When Coral and Cinder awakened their quirks, the harassment escalated into fear-driven cruelty and spreading rumors. Coral’s accidental tragedy — killing her parents during her first uncontrolled quirk surge — turned her into a whispered monster in the eyes of society.
Rou made the decision: if the world refused to protect them, they would protect each other.
The six of them ran away.
On the streets, they became each other’s only family.
