Alright, homie-G's. I'm writing a SAW fanfiction right now-- one where Amanda doesn't die and continues John's work-- so, stay tuned.

...for my self-insertion of OCs and non-cannon sexualities!

I need you, 'cause I do not have the tools
To help with what he's going through
And I know you know all the rules

          [MICHAEL:]
But I'm not what he wants

          [MR HEERE:]
But you're just what he needs
And this might be hard, I know
You just suck it up and go!

          When you love somebody
You put your pants on for them!
          When you love somebody
You take a stance just for them
          Stance just for them!
          If the fight gets bloody
Just keep pushing through 'till the pain is gone
          When you love somebody
          You put your pants on!

I need you to reach out to him! Jeremy won't listen to me and... can't blame him... but someone has to watch his back

          [MICHAEL:]
If I try harder to be his friend, you have to try harder to be his dad
There's a Kohl's right down the street, I don't care what kind: Jeans, khaki, leather.. You're not leaving that store until you buy a pair!

          [MR HEERE:]
You drive a hard bargain, son

          [MICHAEL:]
          When you love somebody
You put your pants on for them

          [MR HEERE:]
          Wear those pants

          [MICHAEL:]
          Somewhat reluctantly

          [MR HEERE & MICHAEL:]
          Still, you gotta go!
          When you love somebody
You put your pants on for them!
          Metaphorically

          [MR HEERE:]
Or sometimes actual pants, real literal pants

          [MR HEERE & MICHAEL:]
          It's a classic study
Of the things we do for our best friend!
          When you love somebody

          [MICHAEL:]
You see it 'till the end

          [MR HEERE & MICHAEL:]
          When you love somebody

          [MR HEERE:]
          The conclusions forgone

          [MR HEERE & MICHAEL:]
          When you love somebody
You put your big boy pants right on
          You put your pants on!

[MR HEERE:]
          Jeremy
Is in big bad trouble right now
It's trouble that he can't see
And I gotta help him somehow
I don't know what he wants
But I know what he needs
He'll need a dad so strong
To help him not slip away
I haven't been a dad for so long
But I think I'm ready today
          The situation is grave
Now's the time to be brave
I'm gonna finally make that climb
          One leg at a time!

          When you love somebody
You put your pants on for them!
          When you love somebody
You take a chance just for them
          Chance just for them!
          If the road gets muddy
Focus on the goal 'till the rough stuff's gone
          When you love somebody
          You put your pants on!

I need you, 'cause I do not have the tools
To help with what he's going through
And I know you know all the rules

          [MICHAEL:]
But I'm not what he wants

          [MR HEERE:]
But you're just what he needs
And this might be hard, I know
You just suck it up and go!

          When you love somebody
You put your pants on for them!
          When you love somebody
You take a stance just for them
          Stance just for them!
          If the fight gets bloody

It's not a game
I'm not a robot AI challenging you
          I'm not a phantom
          I'm in your face and
I'm here to see it through

          Right before your eyes
          Watch us multiply
Come to claim our rights - it's time

          As our power grows
          Tryin' to stop us shows
(You) Might as well go try'n stop time

So you know that we're out there
          Swatting lies in the making
          Can't move fast without breaking
Can't hold on or life won't change

And our voices ring out, yeah
Took the mask off to feel free
Fought it out in the debris
Now we know that life will change

          Ain't it a shame
I'm not a figment of your ailing old mind
          I'm just as real as
          I'm just as dangerous
As you, so know you'll find

          Fire in every breath
Fire inside your head, your heart

          And as your crippled brain
          Tries to fight in vain
          Your empire will fall apart

And you'll know we were out there
          Swatted lies in the making
          Your empire for the taking
Can't hold on or life won't change

And our voices rang out, here
Took the mask off to feel free
Fought it out in the debris
Now we know that life will change

          *Okay, I'll stop. For now.

War. War never changes.

In the year 1945, my great great-grandfather, serving in the Army, wondered when he'd get to go home to his wife and the son he'd never seen. He got his wish when the U.S. ended World War II by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The world awaited Armegeddon. Instead, something miraculous happened; we began to use atomic energy not as a weapon, but as a nearly limitless source of power. People enjoyed luxuries once thought the realm of science fiction.

But then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American Dream. Years of consumption led to shortages of every major resource. The entire world unraveled.

We now stand on the brink of total war- and I am afraid. For myself, for my wife, for my infant son. Because if my time in the Army taught me one thing...

It's that war... war never changes.
